Eligibility Students pursuing PG/M.Phil./Ph.D. in subjects like Criminology, Sociology, Psychology, Law, Forensic Psychology, IT, etc.
Duration
  • One Month (30 Days) - Minimum 22 working days
  • Two Months (60 Days) - Minimum 44 working days
Stipend ₹8,000 per month
Application Deadline 31st January 2025
Selection Criteria Applications must be forwarded by the Head of Department of the University/Institute.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students pursuing Post Graduation/M.Phil./Ph.D. in fields like Criminology, Sociology, Law, IT, Cyber Security, etc.
  • Applications must be forwarded by the respective Head of Department (HOD).
  • Students who have already attended this internship are not eligible to apply again.

Schedule of Internship

Activity Description
Introductory Session Introduction to the DG, ADG, and Directors of BPR&D.
Assigning of Tasks Interns will be given tasks by their respective divisions.
Assigning of Projects Interns will work on projects related to police or correctional administration.
Field Visits Interns will visit police stations, correctional homes, juvenile homes, etc.
Internship Report Interns must submit a report at the end of the internship period.
Valediction A valedictory session will be conducted on the last day.

  • This is a paid internship for students only, not for working professionals.
  • Interns must arrange their own accommodation and food in Delhi.
  • Applications must be complete with all necessary documents, including marksheets and certifications.
