The Friendship of Gajraj and Mooshakraj

A Tale of Trust and Friendship

Once upon a time, there was a town situated near a river. One year, heavy rainfall caused the river to change its course, leading to a severe water crisis. With no water to drink, people started abandoning the town, and eventually, it became deserted, leaving only mice behind. Over time, the mice established their own kingdom, led by their king, Mooshakraj.

One day, a natural water source emerged, forming a large pond. Meanwhile, a jungle nearby was home to many wild animals, including elephants, led by their king, Gajraj. A severe drought hit the jungle, leaving all animals desperate for water. Even the mighty elephants suffered, and their young ones were in distress.

One day, Gajraj's friend, an eagle, informed him about the pond in the abandoned town. Desperate for water, the elephants headed there, trampling many mice under their massive feet along the way. This continued for several days, and the mice suffered heavy casualties.

Mooshakraj Seeks Help

Seeing the devastation, the mouse king, Mooshakraj, decided to speak to Gajraj. He traveled to the jungle and addressed Gajraj from a stone, saying, "O mighty Gajraj, my kingdom of mice is suffering as your herd unknowingly crushes my people underfoot. Please consider changing your path."

Gajraj, realizing the harm they had caused, apologized and promised to find an alternative route. Mooshakraj, grateful for Gajraj’s understanding, said, "Thank you, great king. If you ever need my help, please call upon me." Gajraj smiled, thinking, "How can such a small creature ever help me?"

The Test of Friendship

Days passed peacefully until one day, a neighboring king decided to capture elephants for his army. Traps were set, and Gajraj got caught in a strong net. He roared for help, but none came.

A buffalo, who admired Gajraj, saw him in distress and rushed to help. "Gajraj, how can I save you?" asked the buffalo. Gajraj replied, "Go to the ruins of the town and inform Mooshakraj."

The Rescue Mission

The buffalo ran to Mooshakraj and narrated everything. Mooshakraj immediately gathered his soldiers and rode on the buffalo's back to reach Gajraj. The mice quickly gnawed through the ropes, freeing Gajraj from the trap.

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Gajraj thanked Mooshakraj, realizing that size does not define one's strength. From that day, their friendship became stronger, and they lived happily ever after.

Lesson from the Story

This story teaches us that no creature is too small or insignificant. Trust and mutual respect can overcome any obstacle. Love and kindness can bridge even the greatest differences.
