Students studying in Class 9 as of 1 January 2026 in India are eligible to apply. Selection is based on a holistic evaluation of academic performance and extracurricular achievements.

ISRO covers accommodation, food, and all course materials during the programme. Travel costs are reimbursed by state governments or authorised transport systems upon submission of valid tickets.
